Co-creating a limitless future
The 2025 theme is about breaking boundaries and shaping the future together.
At the first-ever TEDxPraça Gil Eanes event, held at The Lagos Cultural Center on 12 May 2025, we explored innovative projects, open-source collaboration, and bold ideas that prove the possibilities are endless when we work collectively.
The highly anticipated event brought together a remarkable assembly of thinkers, creators, and visionaries, successfully transforming the theme "Co-Creating a Limitless Future" from a concept into a vibrant, shared reality.
With talks delivered in both English and Portuguese through seamless live translation, the event was a true reflection of the diverse and inclusive community it serves. The day was a testament to the power of ideas and the boundless potential of the human spirit.
As the event came to an end, we were left with a powerful message of inspiration, innovation, and community spirit in its wake.

Part 1
Limitless Environment
The day began with Limitless Environment, where Rafaela Prado Cardoso transported the audience beneath the waves into the ocean's symphony, revealing how truly listening to our planet is the first step toward co-creating its future. Bringing a message of tangible hope to the stage, Christina Egger illuminated the fragile, vibrant world of the coral reef ecosystem thriving right in Portugal's own backyard. This session also featured Inês Martins, who explored how our living spaces can profoundly influence our personal energy and well-being.
Part 2
Limitless Self
The morning continued with Limitless Self, featuring Izabella Soko's powerful session on breathwork for resilience, while Pedro Teixeira's exploration of Psychedelics in Mental and Behavioral Health sparked curiosity, pushing the boundaries of conventional wellness conversations. This session also included Ana Araujo, who provided tools grounded in neuroplasticity and empathy, empowering individuals to actively shape a more conscious future. And inspired by Achim Nowak, participants were encouraged to ditch self-imposed limits and make space for more joy and freedom.
Part 3
Limitless Future
The afternoon sessions explored our collective potential. Limitless Future featured local and international voices like António Guerreiro and Paulo de Vilhena, who champion entrepreneurial ecosystems and future-forward thinking. Fellyph Hes Rozendo also took the stage, discussing the transformative present and future of artificial intelligence.
Part 4
Limitless Together
The final session, Limitless Together, beautifully captured the event's core message. Talks by Rita Piçarra, who reminded everyone to live for today, and Penélope Gonçalves, who shared the powerful vision that everyone thrives with community and connection, resonated deeply, fostering a powerful sense of unity. This session was further enriched by Sónia Silva, who highlighted the profound power of diverse stories in reclaiming genuine community beyond social narratives, and Guilherme Félix, who passionately discussed the vital importance of arts in personal development.

Creative Performances
The day was enriched with incredible artistic performances adding a vibrant layer of cultural expression to the intellectual discussions. Humberto Silva had the
audience on their feet, joyfully dancing to traditional Portuguese folk songs. The captivating talents of artists Nicole Silver and Danielle Riegel had the audience
charmed with emotion, and the Associação de Ballet, Dança & Arte SR delivered a breathtaking finale that left everyone in awe.
